About this Edition
The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) successfully held its 2022 Congress in Chicago, United States, from September 30 to October 3 at McCormick Place. The AAO 2022 Expo was open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from October 1 to 3, offering attendees a comprehensive look at the latest in ophthalmology.
During the event, the AAO 2022 Congress featured a range of educational sessions and courses. These gatherings brought together ophthalmologists from around the globe to discuss standard practices, new products, and technologies, as well as other essential topics. The Academy provided classes on cataract and vision rehabilitation, practice quality, coding, and reimbursement.
In addition, the AAO 2022 Congress included Skills Transfer Labs, which allowed participants to engage in hands-on learning to master new diagnostic and surgical techniques. Throughout the show, attendees also had the chance to participate in the Academy Café, explore the Poster Theater and Lounge, and attend masterclasses and general sessions as part of the AAOE Practice Management Program.
