Alimentaria Barcelona 2022

Alimentaria Barcelona 2022, a key event for the F&B and HoReCa sector, took place from 4 to 7 April. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the show returned to Fira Barcelona - Gran Via, alongside the major hospitality expo Hostelco. Over 150,000 industry members anticipated the event, which promised to foster business across the industry value chain and create cross-sector synergies.

Throughout the show, more than 4,500 companies showcased their innovative F&B products and services across 10 sectors. Dedicated country pavilions added to the international flavor of the event. Two buyer invitation programmes played a crucial role in connecting suppliers with influential purchasers and decision-makers.

During the event, Alimentaria Barcelona highlighted innovation and the latest trends. The Alimentaria Hub hosted over 12,000 business meetings and 120 congress sessions, while the Experience - Live Gastronomy focused on sustainability in the kitchen. Innoval was also a significant feature, with over 300 product debuts.
