About this Edition

The APLF 2024 trade show made a notable return to Hong Kong in March 2024. After a four-year hiatus, the event reestablished itself at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, showcasing a renewed expo concept deeply rooted in the leather industry.

Throughout the show, over 800 exhibitors displayed a comprehensive range of products, including raw and finished leathers, chemicals, dyes, and tanning machinery. The event also provided a platform for design and support services, catering to the needs of the entire leather supply chain. During the event, visitors engaged with industry innovators and connected with more than 11,000 buyers from the Asia-Pacific region and China, leveraging opportunities to tap into the Asian market.

The fair highlighted leathers and designs set to influence the Spring – Summer 25 and Fall-Winter 24/25 buying seasons. In addition, at least 15 country pavilions expanded the diversity of supplies available to businesses. Targeted B2B meetings fostered collaborations between exhibitors, high-quality buyers, and potential investors.

The educational component of APLF 2024 matched the exhibition's caliber, offering trend forecasts, conferences, and workshops. Topics such as sustainability in fashion and leather production were addressed, alongside broader industry challenges.
