About this Edition
ARCOmadrid, a premier European art event, convened professionals from across the globe in its latest edition held from 5 to 9 March 2025 at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid. The International Contemporary Art Fair of Spain, known as ARCOmadrid, has become a pivotal meeting ground within the global art community.
Over 95,000 visitors, including artists and collectors, attended the 2025 edition, which focused on Amazon as its central theme. This theme was brought to life through a program that explored Amazon futurism in contemporary art, showcasing a rich tapestry of human, vegetal, and metaphysical interpretations. Curators Denilson Baniwa, María Wills, and the Institute for Postnatural Studies in Wametisé collaborated to present this innovative and thought-provoking exhibition.
In addition to the central project, ARCOmadrid 2025 featured a General Program with galleries handpicked by the Organising Committee. New galleries made their debut, and the Profiles project continued to highlight and strengthen ARCOmadrid's historical connection with Latin American art.
Throughout the show, attendees immersed themselves in a unique experience that not only showcased the contemporary art landscape but also fostered meaningful discussions and connections within the art society.
