About this Edition
The 45th edition of ARCOmadrid took place from 4 to 8 March 2026 at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid. The event began with exclusive access for collectors and professionals, setting the stage for a vibrant exchange of contemporary art and ideas.
Under the theme ARCO2045, the fair presented two distinct spaces curated by José Luis Blondet and Magalí Arriola, respectively. These areas showcased the current state and envisioned future of the contemporary art scene.
With over 95,000 visitors, including artists and collectors from across the globe, ARCOmadrid 2026 solidified its status as Spain's premier international contemporary art fair. During the event, the General programme featured an array of artistic content. Anissa Touati and Rafa Barber curated the Opening. New Galleries section, spotlighting galleries with less than eight years of experience. Meanwhile, the Profiles / Latin American Art project, curated by José Esparza Chong Cuy, highlighted the fair's strong ties with Latin American art.
Throughout the show, attendees experienced a rich tapestry of creative expression, with Madrid serving as a fitting backdrop for this prestigious gathering.
