About this Edition
The 16th edition of the Astana Mining & Metallurgy Congress (AMM) took place on 11 and 12 June 2026 at the Hilton Astana in Kazakhstan. This international congress and exhibition is recognized as a key event in the Eurasian region for the mining and metallurgical industry.
AMM 2026 featured a comprehensive showcase of products, with more than 50 exhibiting companies presenting state-of-the-art solutions in geology, industrial safety, and environmental protection. The event also included a range of chemicals, technologies, and equipment for the mining industry, along with services from financial and engineering firms.
The congress program attracted over 1,300 delegates from countries including Austria, Spain, the UK, Japan, and Turkey. Throughout the event, more than 380 B2B and G2B meetings facilitated business collaboration and expert discussions among professionals and government representatives. Over 170 global visionaries shared their insights during more than 15 business sessions. A highlight of the program was the Golden Hephaestus Contest and Awards.
