About this Edition
The 8th edition of the CAPAS Chengdu 2022 took place at Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition & Convention Center from 18 to 20 August 2022. Originally scheduled for 19 - 21 May, the event was successfully held on the revised dates, drawing attention to Southwest China's automotive sector.
Over 500 exhibitors showcased their latest products and services across 10 product zones. The previous edition's introduction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Dual-city Economic Rim zone continued to spotlight the region's economic capabilities. The event welcomed around 16,000 trade visitors, offering them a platform to access the burgeoning Chinese automotive aftermarket.
Throughout the show, attendees engaged in various fringe events designed to enhance business connections and knowledge. The Shopping Festival and VIP Buyers Business Matching Programme were among the highlights, alongside the Car Customising Festival. Industry experts shared insights at the Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket Summit and Southwest Automotive Aftermarket Summit, discussing future technological advancements and the impact of new policies on the sector.
