About this Edition
Since its inception in 2009, CITIE, or the China International Tourism Industry Expo, has evolved into a significant international tourism event. The 17th edition, CITIE 2024, was held from September 13th to 15th at Zone A of the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The event served as a dynamic platform that embraced innovation and growth in the tourism industry, especially pertinent in the post-pandemic landscape.
CITIE has leveraged the strategic position of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a major tourist hub in China. The expo catered to both B2B and B2C sectors, drawing in a diverse array of destinations, service providers, and suppliers from around the world.
