About this Edition
Cibus 2022, the International Food Exhibition, took place in Parma, Italy from May 3 to 6, 2022. This event, dedicated to the Italian agri-food sector, unfolded at Fiere di Parma, marking the 21st edition of this prestigious Made in Italy showcase.
Throughout the show, institutions, trade associations, companies, and professionals convened to discuss future strategies for the food business. The B2B trade fair featured eight guided tours, emphasizing regional specialties and niche markets.
One of the areas at Cibus 2022 was the Ho.Re.Ca Area, while the Cibus Startup Area – Le Village by CA welcomed innovative Italian startups and SMEs. The Cibus Innovation Corner displayed cutting-edge products, reflecting the event's commitment to future and innovation.
During the event, attendees had the chance to forge and enhance international commercial relationships. The Cibus “Fuori Salone” catered to meetings, tastings, shows, and cuisine. Additionally, the Cibus After Networking Area provided a space for visitors and exhibitors to continue networking in a relaxed setting.
Other highlights included the Cibus4Sustainability project and Cibus LAB. The Italian Craft Breweries made a return, with the expo promoting quality craft beer, including Italian brands. The Beer of the Year 2022 Award took place on the afternoon of May 3.
