DOMOTEX Hannover 2022

The DOMOTEX Hannover 2022, a cornerstone event for the floor coverings industry, was scheduled to take place in Hannover, Germany. However, due to increased coronavirus infections and subsequent government restrictions, the event was cancelled.

Known as The World of Flooring, the trade fair was set to gather industry professionals from the 13th to the 16th of January 2022. It aimed to showcase a wide range of products, including luxurious carpets, elegant solid wood parquet, resilient floor coverings, and cutting-edge application and installation technologies. The event promised to be a hub for attracting new buyers and partners, with an anticipated attendance of over 35,000 professionals, more than 60% of whom were expected to come from abroad.

Throughout the show, special displays such as the Parquet Work Camp and the FLOORING PARK were planned to allow exhibitors to highlight their offerings. In addition, DOMOTEX was to focus on pivotal industry topics like the role of flooring in interior design, balanced living, and sustainable production materials and practices.
