About this Edition
The European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) successfully held its 90th congress, EAS 2022, from 22 – 25 May at the Milano Convention Centre. This event marked a significant return to in-person meetings after two years of online gatherings. Over 2,000 researchers, experts, and clinicians in the field of atherosclerosis and related vascular diseases convened in Milan, Italy, to share the latest scientific breakthroughs.
During the event, attendees participated in plenary sessions, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) accredited courses. Renowned experts delivered lectures, and the Anitschkow Prize lecture served as a highlight at the opening ceremony. Throughout the show, hundreds of abstracts and research posters were presented, offering a comprehensive view of the advancements in cardiovascular disease research and therapy.
