About this Edition
In 2025, Eisbeinessen marked its 75th anniversary by gathering the international shipping community in Hamburg. The event took place at the Grand Elysée Hamburg on Friday, 7 November, with doors opening at 5:30 pm. Attendees had the convenience of two entrances, located on Moorweidenstrasse and Tesdorpfstrasse.
On the preceding day, the Townhall Reception took place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This exclusive gathering required a separate invitation and served as a prelude to the main event. Throughout the show, the Republic of South Africa, a key trading partner with Germany, was featured as the partner country. This partnership highlighted the significant volume of seaborne goods exchanged between the two nations and opened doors for additional networking and collaborative prospects.
During the event, German and international shipping agents, bunker dealers, shipbrokers, freight forwarders, bankers, and insurance company representatives forged new connections. In addition, the show facilitated an environment for industry professionals to engage in meaningful discussions and explore potential business ventures.
