About this Edition
The WEBUILD Energiesparmesse Wels 2022, held in Wels, Austria, marked a significant return for the trade show, following a hiatus in 2021. This event, a staple for 35 years, has evolved into a vital hub for renewable energy and innovative construction. The 2022 edition took place from 6 to 10 April, with the original dates being 2 - 6 March 2022.
During the event, the first two days were exclusively for industry professionals, with a focus on the HVAC and sanitary sectors on 6 April, and a B2B professional visitors day on 10 April. Over 750 exhibitors and 77,000 visitors engaged in the event, highlighting the dynamic nature of the building, living, and energy sectors.
Throughout the show, four main exhibition areas were featured: Energy, Sanitary, Construction, and the newly introduced Interiors. A novel guidance system was implemented to streamline the interaction between exhibitors and attendees. Moreover, a new Speaker's Corner in hall 20 provided a stage for innovators to share their forward-thinking ideas and projects.
In addition to the main exhibits, the event showcased the ENERGIEGENIE and Blue Innovation Awards, celebrating exceptional achievements and advancements within the industry.
