About this Edition
Equitana 2022, celebrated in Essen, Germany, marked a significant milestone in the equestrian world, commemorating its 50th year. The event took place from 7 – 13 April 2022, a shift from its usual odd-year schedule. Over the course of seven days, the event welcomed more than 750 exhibitors and 180,000 visitors, a testament to its stature as one of the largest equestrian shows in Europe.
Throughout the show, attendees navigated through 8 product worlds within the halls of Messe Essen. These worlds showcased the newest offerings in horse breeding, care, riding equipment, equestrian sports, and tourism. The event served as a hub for global equestrian enthusiasts and provided over 30,000 professional visitors with valuable B2B networking opportunities.
During the event, a diverse range of educational sessions and training formats were available, addressing a spectrum of topics relevant to the equestrian industry. The HOP TOP Show, hosted in Hall 4, combined artistic performances with expert horsemanship, adding a touch of spectacle to the evenings.
