About this Edition
The 34th edition of ESH, the European Meeting on Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection, took place from 23 to 26 May at MiCo - Milano Congressi in Milan. This event gathered over 2000 participants from approximately 100 countries, along with 20 sponsor companies. The programme featured more than 80 conference sessions and 100 presentations, focusing on the latest scientific findings in the field.
Following the successful format of the previous edition, ESH 2025 emphasized interactive events and activities. The Young Investigator initiatives were a key highlight, aiming to foster the next generation of specialists. The scientific content was organized into three main themes: Mechanistic profiles of hypertension, Hypertension – a lifelong perspective from adolescence to the elderly, and Hypertension and cardiometabolic disease. These themes guided the teaching sessions and lectures, which covered a wide range of topics including AI, genomics, diabetes, pharmacotherapy, and device-based treatments.
Throughout the show, attendees engaged with the content and networked with peers, gaining insights and knowledge to advance their professional expertise in hypertension and cardiovascular protection.
