About this Edition
FERMEX JAPAN is an annual event dedicated to fermented and brewed foods and beverages. Organized by TSO International, it brought together domestic and international attendees from the entire F&B sector. Alongside INBOUND FOOD BUSINESS EXPO and CafeRes Japan, FERMEX JAPAN was part of the JAPAN FOODS WEEK 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight from 4 to 6 August 2026.
During the event, advances in the fermented and brewed food industry were at the forefront. The three-day exhibition encouraged leading decision-makers and eminent experts to collaborate and explore ways to propel the sector’s growth. Various industry trends and hot topics related to F&B flavour profiles and the preservation of alcoholic beverages, miso, soya, and other products were highlighted. Over 500 well-established brands showcased their cutting-edge food and beverage offerings from four main categories: Fermented and Brewing Food Products and Ingredient Zone; Fermented and Brewing Food Machinery Area; HACCP and Infection Control Space; Research and Development Zone.
FERMEX JAPAN 2026 featured an extensive fringe programme with a special educational and networking focus. More than 50 expert seminars and other activities were offered to attendees to enhance their know-how.
