About this Edition
The annual FIBO took place in Cologne, Germany, marking a significant return for the fitness and wellness industry after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. FIBO 2022, held from 7 to 10 April, brought together over 100,000 participants, including professionals, athletes, and enthusiasts.
Throughout the show, nine exhibition halls at Messe Cologne were filled with over 1,000 companies showcasing products and services across categories such as 'Training Equipment', 'Wellness & Spa', 'Fashion & Beauty', and 'Healthy Sports Nutrition'. The event also highlighted emerging trends like digitisation and mixed reality sports.
During the first two days, FIBO catered exclusively to trade visitors, offering opportunities for exhibitors to attract clients and investors. The latter part of the event welcomed the public, facilitating direct engagement between professionals and end-users. The event featured professional guided tours, digital matchmaking tools, and the European Health & Fitness Forum held on 6 April.
