About this Edition
FOOD EXPO 2023, the Mediterranean Food Experience, took place in Athens from 18 to 20 March 2023 at the Metropolitan Expo. This event gathered a diverse group of Greek and international exhibitors, alongside food traders, for a three-day expo. During the event, participants explored a range of products including dairy, poultry, herbs, and canned foods.
Throughout the show, established brands and emerging startups had the opportunity to engage with clients and mentors through face-to-face interactions. The expo featured product pavilions, taste-testing, live demonstrations, B2B meetings, and open-talk sessions. In addition, FOOD EXPO 2023 offered a digital edition, enabling international attendees to participate remotely, discover new products, and schedule virtual meetings.
The digital platform, FOOD EXPO Digital, served as a matchmaking tool and provided live streams and on-demand videos from the event in Spata, Greece. This hybrid approach allowed for a broader reach and facilitated connections beyond the physical boundaries of the Metropolitan Expo.
