About this Edition
Every two years, Messe Stuttgart transforms into the World of Gelato with the exciting GELATISSIMO exhibition, bringing together gelato chefs and professionals from related beverage and coffee sectors for an in-person event. Traditionally held in February, GELATISSIMO is set to take place at the same time as INTERGASTRA, between 12 and 16 February 2028. In the course of five days, participants will have the opportunity to experience the breadth of artisanal gelato and discover the latest offerings in the hotel and gastronomy sectors.
Known as the only gelato-dedicated event north of the Alps, GELATISSIMO offers an extensive overview of the handmade gelato process, along with raw ingredients, ice cream equipment and machines, shop design and construction, cups, accessories, toppings, and waffles. The 2028 editions of GELATISSIMO and INTERGASTRA exhibitions will host a line-up of well-established and emerging manufacturers, chefs, and other professionals presenting their high-quality products and services spanning 120,000 m² of space at Messe Stuttgart.
With live shows, exciting demonstrations, competitions, and networking events, GELATISSIMO 2028’s fringe programme is expected to draw significant attention. The CHEF-SACHE networking platform, the Grand Prix GELATISSIMO, and the Gelato Europe Cup are among the eagerly anticipated events.
