About this Edition
The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) 2022 took place from 3 to 6 August at the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. Despite setbacks from the pandemic, GILE maintained its status as a premier event for the LED and lighting industry. The exhibition, along with the concurrent Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT), promoted industry advancements in quality, energy efficiency, and digitalization.
Professionals at the event encountered a wide range of products including lighting accessories, LED packaging components, and testing equipment. Innovations in residential, commercial, and smart lighting were also showcased. The 27th GILE and GEBT welcomed over 141,000 visitors from around 60 countries and regions, with nearly 2000 companies exhibiting. They presented trends and technologies poised to influence the industry's future, highlighting areas such as personalized classroom lighting, nightscaping, healthcare LED lighting, and smart connected lighting.
Throughout the show, the PowerMatch program facilitated community building through online and in-person meetings, allowing participants to discuss new concepts and expand their networks.
