About this Edition
The 41st edition of the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports, known as IAW, took place from 8 to 10 September 2026 at Messe Cologne. This event is recognized globally as a significant retail exhibition, providing valuable opportunities for product sourcing and networking.
IAW Autumn 2026 welcomed over 4,700 professional visitors who were eager to explore the latest offerings and promotions in the retail sector. The fair served as a gateway for new partnerships, deal-making, and meetings with leading retailers and decision-makers. With a diverse international audience, participants ranged from small enterprises to large corporations.
More than 260 exhibiting brands participated, including nearly 50 newcomers, all benefiting from a global platform for product and knowledge exchange. The exhibition showcased a wide array of products across over 30,000 sq m of space, including textiles and clothing, toys, seasonal items, food and drink, cosmetics, household goods, office supplies, electronics, DIY products, furniture, gifts, jewellery, and accessories.
During the event, the E-Commerce Arena functioned as a hub for networking and learning. Digital experts engaged in presentations, discussions, and workshops on current industry topics, further enriching the experience for attendees.
