Barcelona was the proud host of IBTM World for its 38th edition, marking the 21st consecutive year the city welcomed this prestigious event. As a key exhibition for corporate event planning, IBTM World brought together professionals from around the globe for an in-person meeting focused on networking, collaboration, and industry exploration.
From 18 to 20 November 2025, Fira Barcelona-Gran Via became a hub for the MICE (meeting, incentives, conference, and events) community. The event attracted over 12,000 trade visitors, all eager to engage in face-to-face interactions over the course of three days. IBTM World 2025 continued its tradition of fostering business growth and providing attendees with knowledge, inspiration, and practical experience.
Throughout the show, participants had the chance to explore exciting travel destinations, engage in pre-scheduled B2B meetings, and take part in key networking and educational events. Industry experts shared their knowledge and expertise through informative sessions, including the Exceptional Experiences program, Forum for Advocacy, and IBTM Association Leaders Forum.
