About this Edition
From 8 to 10 September, Kind + Jugend 2022 brought together key stakeholders from the baby and toddler outfitting industry in Cologne, Germany. This event, a pivotal international platform for the sector, followed a successful hybrid edition in 2021. Despite a more compact format due to the pandemic, it maintained its leading position.
Nearly 150 companies from 24 nations showcased their products, and around 2000 trade visitors from 59 nations attended. The DACH region and neighboring countries were particularly well-represented. Kind + Jugend @home, the digital counterpart, provided a virtual space with exhibitor offerings, Trend Forum content, and networking opportunities through virtual cafés and a Communication Center. The digital platform's potential is set to expand in future editions.
The 2022 edition of Kind + Jugend featured seven theme worlds for a comprehensive overview of baby and toddler accessories, including new product launches. These themes ranged from Kids and Maternity Clothing and Fashion to Moving & Traveling Kids, Kids Furniture, Kids Home Textiles and Decoration, Kids Safety and Monitoring at Home, Kids Toys & Education, and Kids and Mom Care and Daily.
