About this Edition
Last November, the leisure marine industry converged at METSTRADE 2022 in Amsterdam. This event stood out as the largest international showcase in the Netherlands for marine equipment, materials, and systems. Despite previous disruptions, the show successfully gathered 11,936 in-person visitors, affirming its status as a key industry gathering.
Throughout the show, METSTRADE 2022 presented numerous quality partnership prospects and networking opportunities that attracted marine equipment suppliers from around the globe. The range of products on display was extensive, including pier and anchor equipment as well as yacht products. The event featured dedicated areas for the superyacht, marina, and shipyard sectors, in addition to construction materials, highlighting the diverse offerings.
With 20 national pavilions, METSTRADE 2022 showcased its global reach alongside a strong local presence, particularly in Hall 9. The majority of visitors came from overseas, emphasizing the fair's role as a premier platform for connecting with both new and existing customers. It was an ideal venue for unveiling innovative products and fostering B2B opportunities with an international audience of distributors, naval architects, yacht builders, and marina owners.
During the event, visitors also gained insight into the achievements of global boat building companies at the Boat Builder Awards. The SUPERYACHT FORUM provided a space for expert panel discussions. Additional networking events and informal business gatherings were enhanced by happy hours and receptions, facilitating further industry connections.
