About this Edition
Nor-Fishing 2022, held from 23 – 26 August in Trondheim, Norway, marked a significant gathering for the global fisheries sector. With a history spanning over fifty years, the event returned to an in-person format after the virtual shift in 2020. Over four days, more than 500 exhibitors and 20,000 trade visitors convened to engage with the latest technological advancements and shape the future of the industry.
At the Trondheim Spektrum, attendees experienced a comprehensive overview of innovations, including fishery equipment, fishing vessels, marine engines, and ship equipment, as well as processing and handling solutions. The nearby Skansen area complemented the main venue with a waterfront exhibition space, fostering an ideal environment for professional networking. Suppliers, procurement officers, and decision-makers from around the world took this opportunity to connect and discuss potential collaborations.
Throughout the show, Nor-Fishing provided an exceptional informational program. A variety of seminars, mini-conferences, and presentations took place at the Research Plaza. These events were instrumental in disseminating knowledge and fostering dialogue among industry professionals. In addition, attendees witnessed the presentation of the Innovation Award and the Directorate of Fisheries' Environmental Award, recognizing outstanding contributions to the sector.
