About this Edition
Every two years, the international maritime industry gathers in Norway for the significant event known as Nor-Shipping. The 2022 edition, held from 4 - 7 April 2022 in Lillestrom and Oslo, marked a successful return after the previous event was canceled due to the pandemic. Over 40,000 professionals convened to engage with the latest maritime innovations, including shipbuilding, engines, equipment, navigation, and offshore technology.
Nor-Shipping 2022 served as a melting pot for maritime, tech, finance, and business segments, fostering learning, partnerships, and the creation of valuable opportunities. The theme '#ACTION' steered the focus towards transforming potential into tangible progress and profit. In addition, the event played an active role in the Action Platform for Sustainable Ocean Business, emphasizing sustainable solutions within the maritime sector.
During the event, the Blue Economy Hall became the epicenter for discussions on sustainability. Concurrently, the Ocean Leadership Conference brought together top experts and industry leaders to address the shipping industry's most pressing challenges. Throughout the show, various business and networking events, such as Young@Nor-Shipping, the Nor-Shipping Awards, and the Nor-Shipping BBQ, provided attendees with diverse engagement opportunities.
