About this Edition
OPTI 2022 took place on 13 - 15 May 2022, after a reschedule from its usual January dates due to Covid-19 uncertainties. This key event for the ophthalmic industry returned to the familiar halls of Messe Munich in Germany.
During the event, an exhibition showcased a vast range of optics products, including frames, lenses, and technical equipment. About 600 exhibitors displayed their latest innovations and designs, engaging with over 27,000 trade visitors for three days of discussions and networking.
In addition, the YES independent design area highlighted innovative eyewear labels, offering unique business opportunities. Opti 2022 also served as an educational hub. The opti FORUM featured sessions on topics such as Optics 4.0, marketing strategies, and industry policy changes. The opti BOXES newcomer award celebrated fresh talent in the field.
Throughout the show, a significant number of international visitors attended, reflecting the event's global appeal and importance.
