PCIM Europe 2023

PCIM Europe 2023, a prominent trade show for the power electronics community, took place in Nurnberg, Germany, from 9 to 11 May 2023. Held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, the event ran concurrently with SMTConnect, a key fair for electronic component production. Over three days, attendees immersed themselves in a comprehensive trade show experience.

Throughout the show, PCIM 2023 featured 12 product groups, including Power Semiconductors, Power Components, Power Modules and Discretes, Integrated Circuits, and Passive Components, among others. Various product pavilions, workshops, and live demonstrations enriched the exhibition, alongside an informative forum programme with three themed stages: Industry Forum, Exhibitor Forum, and E-mobility Forum.

During the event, the supporting programme offered a range of high-quality presentations that focused on the latest trends, product information, and critical industry insights. A special highlight was the Country Special, which centered on the USA, underscoring its significance as a trading partner and export market for Germany. American companies enjoyed a dedicated pavilion where they could present their offerings and forge valuable B2B and B2C connections.

In addition, the hybrid format of PCIM 2023 extended its reach with online content. Participants engaged with the 'Sound on. Power on.' podcast and the Power & Beyond online platform, which provided market know-how and insights into power electronics trends.
