About this Edition
The German event for advances in functional textiles, PERFORMANCE DAYS, was held between 18 and 19 March 2026. Messe Munich hosted the 31st on-site edition of the expo, complemented by the digital sourcing platform, The Loop, which provided year-round offerings and sustainable solutions for functional fabrics and accessories.
Known as the Functional Fabric Fair, PERFORMANCE DAYS welcomed over 450 leading exhibitors in Munich and more than 580 at the virtual sourcing hub. The high-quality collections were distributed across the Innovation Area, the Tech Hub, the Wool Area, the Footwear Area, the Bodywear Area, the Creative Area, and the Circularity Zone. Professional buyers and top global brands such as Adidas, Asics, Atomic, Decathlon, ESPRIT, Marc O’Polo, Puma, SALOMON, UNDER ARMOUR, The North Face, and many others sourced their needs at PERFORMANCE DAYS.
The supplementary programme of PERFORMANCE DAYS Spring 2026 featured various activities aimed at enhancing the visitor experience and providing useful insights and opportunities for business communication. The Workshop Area included footwear workshops, while the Trends Forum and Expert Talks emphasized crucial industry topics. Specially designed guided tours improved attendees’ experiences, enabling them to focus on networking, learning, and knowledge exchange. A highlight of the expo agenda was the PERFORMANCE DAYS Awards, which recognized achievements in categories such as performance, innovation, and eco solutions.
