About this Edition
Pitti Filati 2022, known as Pitti Immagine Filati Winter 2022, took place in Florence, Italy, from 2 to 4 February. This winter edition of the renowned trade show brought together national and international yarn producers, designers, knitwear mills, and style bureaus for a 3-day in-person event. The #SafeWithPitti package was offered to ensure a safe exhibition environment.
Since its inception in 1977, Pitti Immagine Filati has been a pivotal event for the world's leading fashion brands and yarn and knitwear manufacturers. The trade show has become a hub for exchanging experiences, standard practices, and forming long-term business partnerships. The 2022 winter edition continued this tradition, with well-known brands and start-ups showcasing their latest designs and workflows.
Throughout the show, premium yarns, knitwear, and eco-friendly solutions were displayed at the Thread Forum, CustomEasy, KnitClub, and SUSTAINABLE Project. In addition, attendees benefited from various workshops, live demonstrations, and educational seminars and courses, including the Master in Creative Knitwear Design of Accademia Costume & Moda and Modateca Deanna. The event was open daily from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, and participants could also connect online via the Pitti Connect platform starting from 4 January 2022.
