About this Edition
The Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, held in Turin, Italy, concluded its 2024 edition on a high note. From 9 to 13 May, Lingotto Fiere was the gathering spot for the literary community, hosting the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino 2024 (SalTo 2024). Major publishing houses and independent publishers alike showcased their offerings across four pavilions with over 570 stands. The event welcomed more than 215,000 visitors, including 24,800 students, who immersed themselves in a rich program of conferences, workshops, and B2B meetings.
During the event, the SalTo Rights Centre drew European publishers and literary agents interested in negotiating translation and publishing rights. The Book To Screen segment connected authors and publishers with production companies and film agencies, focusing on rights for cinema and TV adaptations. Meanwhile, Book To Sound catered to the growing interest in audiobooks and podcasts. The areas dedicated to New Publishers and Self Publishing were also among the highlights, reflecting the evolving landscape of the publishing industry.
