About this Edition
The Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino 2025, also known as SalTo, took place from 15 to 19 May 2025. This prestigious event in Turin, Italy, welcomed approximately 800 exhibitors, including authors, publishers, and booksellers. Over 220,000 visitors, ranging from industry professionals to avid book readers, were present to experience a diverse program featuring more than 2,000 special events.
During the event, SalTo2025 offered a variety of activities tailored for the publishing industry under the banner of SaltoPro. The Rights Centre, a key component, was divided into three segments: Book to Book, Book to Screen, and Book to Audio. This area facilitated connections among literary agencies, publishing houses, rights managers, audio-visual agencies, and production studios from both Italy and the international scene. Additionally, a dedicated space for self-publishing showcased independent authors and professionals from the self-publishing realm. Translators were honored through The Invisible Author initiative.
Throughout the show, attendees engaged in pre-scheduled meetings, participated in various training sessions, and attended presentations. These five days of networking, discovering new titles, and immersing in the literary world provided a comprehensive experience for all involved.
