About this Edition
SIAL China 2022, a key event for food and beverage companies, successfully took place from 7 - 9 December 2022 in Shanghai. After a rescheduling from its original May dates, the event marked its 23rd edition, showcasing an extensive range of offerings within 7 theme pavilions. These pavilions highlighted sectors from traditional F&B supply chains to emerging categories like functional health foods and green agriculture.
Throughout the show, two additional exhibitions focused on food packaging and processing machinery, fostering business synergies. The event's global scale attracted over 1,500 special buyers, facilitated by initiatives such as "Match Me", a buyer lounge, a procurement salon, and buyer delegations.
During the event, the SIAL Innovation show stood out as a benchmark within the industry, where scholars and experts gathered to spotlight the most promising products of the year. The 14th edition of La Cuisine brought together internationally renowned chefs, contributing to the evolution of global catering culture. Furthermore, the Seafood Fest offered attendees the chance to taste dishes, engage in discussions about trends, and delve into topics pertinent to the aquatic industry.
