About this Edition
The Speciality & Fine Food Fair, celebrating its 25th anniversary, took place at Olympia London, gathering over 700 gourmet food and drink suppliers. Held on the 5th and 6th of September 2022, the fair attracted around 10,000 buyers from various sectors, including hotels, restaurants, and independent retailers. These professionals congregated to explore the latest products and discuss emerging trends in the industry.
Throughout the show, the diverse range of exhibits included snacks, confectionery, bakery items, cheese, dairy, meat, seafood, grocery products, and premium ingredients, alongside a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The event also introduced over 200 start-up companies in The Discovery Zone, highlighting the innovative spirit of the fair. The Sustainability Zone showcased eco-friendly products, reflecting the industry's growing commitment to environmental responsibility. Moreover, the Vegan & Plant-Based Trail drew attention to producers catering to the increasing demand for plant-based options.
During the event, the Food for Thought Stage and the Drinks Cabinet hosted expert-led sessions. Topics ranged from the post-COVID retail landscape to sustainable consumerism, digital innovation, and the future of the food and drink sector.
