About this Edition
Texworld New York City convened its summer edition for 2022 at the Javits Center from 19 to 21 July. This event, known as the largest sourcing event on the East Coast, offered a hybrid experience, combining in-person and digital interactions. The trade fair spanned three days, allowing attendees to engage with global manufacturers and suppliers.
During the event, participants explored the latest trends for the S/S 2023 season, including themes such as Bio-Romance, Earth-Sense, Kinetic-Energy, and Utopia-World. With over 20 products and services on display, the range included materials from cotton and denim to silk, wool, and wovens.
Throughout the show, sustainability was a focal point. The Sustainable Sourcing and Small Quantity lists facilitated connections between visitors and eco-friendly exhibitors. Local Sourcing, formerly known as Local Loft, highlighted North American production capabilities through various pavilions and workshops. Additionally, attendees benefited from lectures and training sessions led by industry experts.
