About this Edition
Vinitaly 2024 unfolded from 14 to 17 April in Verona, Italy, gathering wine and spirits enthusiasts from across the globe. This premier trade fair hosted approximately 4400 companies from 30 countries, allowing them to showcase their finest products over four days. More than 93,000 wine business operators from over 140 countries attended the event, engaging in a vibrant exchange of industry knowledge and forging new business connections.
During the event, participants immersed themselves in the international wine market's latest trends and innovations. They engaged in over 10,000 pre-scheduled appointments and participated in around 45,000 tastings, facilitated by the Vinitaly Plus platform. Prestigious events, including the Angelo Betti Award for Merit in Wine-growing and the wine2wine Business Forum, provided additional value through educational sessions and networking opportunities.
Throughout the show, theme-based areas such as Vinitaly Bio offered insights into organic wines from Italian regions. The Mixology section featured master classes and workshops on wine-based cocktails, while Micro Mega Wines highlighted unique small-batch wines from both Italian and international producers. The International Wine Hall showcased an array of wines and spirits from around the world, broadening the horizons of attendees.
