About this Edition
The WindEurope 2022 exhibition and conference, held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, took place from 5 to 7 April 2022. This event marked a significant gathering for the wind energy sector, focusing on the latest onshore and offshore wind technologies as sources of electricity. After a period of virtual events, the return to an in-person format was met with enthusiasm by attendees eager to connect and forge business partnerships.
During the event, the WindEurope 2022 conference featured top speakers from the industry. They shared insights on innovative and sustainable developments within renewable energy. The exhibition program included interactive pavilions and live demonstrations, highlighting the advancements in onshore, offshore, and floating wind technologies. In addition, the 6th edition of the Wind Energy and Defence event provided a platform for discussions on integrating wind energy into defence strategies and policies.
Throughout the show, the conference was accessible on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The exhibition welcomed visitors on 6 and 7 April from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on the final day, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. An official Opening Reception took place on Tuesday evening, offering a chance for informal networking and celebration within the wind energy community.
