From Rotorua to Germany – this is how the story of Benton & Horris began. Inspired by the New Zealand culinary legend Joe Horvath, founder Andreas Horvath brings the spirit of New Zealand into German kitchens. We create handmade pies and dumplings from ultra-thin spelt dough, filled with high-quality, authentic ingredients – savory, vegetarian, vegan, or sweet.
Our variety ranges from classics like Kassler, Burger, or Gratin Pie to Veggie and Masalla variants, all the way to Blueberry Pie. All products are fully baked, frozen, free from additives, and can be regenerated in just a few minutes – microwave, combi steamer, oven, or air fryer.
Whether in gastronomy, hospitality, catering, canteens, cafés, or events: our pies are versatile, handy, and perfect for to-go, buffets, vending machines, and 24/7 supply. Thanks to the 1-mm spelt dough, they stay particularly warm and juicy for a long time, ideal for efficient operations without a large kitchen and without specialized staff.
