About this Edition
Art Paris 2022, the notable spring event for modern and contemporary art, took place from 7 to 10 April 2022 at the Grand Palais Éphémère. Organized by France Conventions with support from the French environmental agency ADEME, the fair adopted an environmentally responsible approach. The 24th edition of the event featured two main themes: Natural Histories and Art & Environment.
During the event, the 'Solo Show' sector highlighted seventeen monographic exhibitions from a diverse group of modern, contemporary, and emerging artists. In addition, the 'Promises' sector supported young galleries established within the past six years. Throughout the show, independent exhibition curator Alfred Pacquement showcased 'Natural Histories: A Focus on the French Scene' with a selection of 20 artists exploring the return of plants and animals in contemporary aesthetics.
Art & Environment was presented by Alice Audouin, an environmental specialist and founder of Art of Change 21. She curated a selection of 17 local and international artists whose works addressed various ecological issues. These artists were also among the exhibitors at Art Paris 2022.
