About this Edition
The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) successfully hosted its annual meeting at the MiCo - Milano Congressi in Milan, Italy, from 3 - 6 July 2022. This event marked a significant return to in-person interactions, complemented by a hybrid online component, following two years of virtual congresses. Over 12,000 participants from around the globe gathered to engage with the latest developments in reproductive science and medicine.
Throughout the show, attendees experienced a robust scientific program that covered a broad spectrum of current topics, showcased selected research presentations, and included industry-sponsored symposia. On the first day, ESHRE’s Special Interest Groups conducted a series of pre-congress courses, enriching the educational offerings. All sessions were also made available on demand for online viewing, ensuring that the content reached an even wider audience.
During the event, a technical exhibition provided a platform for companies specializing in pharmaceutical, surgical, and laboratory products to gain international visibility and interact with the medical community. Networking was a cornerstone of ESHRE 2022, with events such as the Opening Ceremony and the Tuesday Evening Networking Event on 5 July, which also featured the ESHRE Award Ceremony.
