InnoTrans 2022

InnoTrans 2022 took place from 20 to 23 September at Messe Berlin, marking the 14th edition of this leading trade fair for rail transport technology. The event showcased innovations from market leaders across Germany, the EU, and beyond, highlighting the digital transformation within the industry, as well as safety, policy updates, and climate change challenges.

Since its inception in the late 90s, InnoTrans has been a biennial event, growing a dedicated professional community focused on advancing transport technology. The 2022 edition featured materials and components, systems, and complete vehicles, with exhibitors presenting their latest solutions through demonstrations, seminars, and networking opportunities.

The event spanned forty-two halls and was organized into five segments: Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Interiors, Public Transport, and Tunnel Construction. InnoTrans 2022 also included the annual Outdoor Display, allowing hands-on interaction with new products. In addition, the InnoTrans Campus catered to young professionals, while the Bus Display and the International Bus Forum provided dynamic and static showcases of the latest in bus transport.
